I like this heat protectant because it has some hold to it. So, if your flat ironing your hair flipped up or under, this product will give you just enough hold to keep it there without having you use a hairspray. Redken has a number system for the amount of hold the product gives you. So, 7 is medium hold. Plus, I love the amount of shine it gives.
